The Hearth website, four ways.

Two independent builders. Two rounds. Round 1 executed the approved brand system faithfully. Round 2 was told to challenge everything. Nothing here is a final decision — it's the comparison before one.

Round 2 · Challenge everything — the meta prompt told both models to reject Rev 01 if they could beat it
Claude Fable · The Countersigned Paper

A working paper that won't finish until you sign it.

Daylight only. The site is a letterhead document — folios, Exhibit A, schedules — that halts as a watermarked DRAFT until you press-and-hold to countersign. Human-in-the-loop, enacted.

Kimi K3 · The Ledger

Every claim on the page unfolds into its evidence.

Hearth as a proof company. Each sentence wears a provenance seal; tap it and the working opens — source, basis, confidence, and the named human who signed it. Auditability as the design language.

Round 1 · Faithful to the brand — both built on The Kept Flame, Revision 01
Claude Fable · First Light

The room where the fire is kept.

One continuous evening. The canonical First Light ritual opens into a warm architectural interior — the Kept Flame system executed faithfully.

Kimi K3 · Evening Hearth

Evening-hearth dark, product as parts of the hearth.

First Light ritual, the product ecosystem as Mantle / Kindling / Andiron / Dispatch, proof labeled example-only.

The brand board all of this is built from — The Kept Flame, Rev 01
Reading the two rounds. Round 2 didn't try to polish Round 1 — it tried to replace it. Fable argues the brand should stop describing trust and start performing it (a document you must sign). K3 argues it should stop claiming rigor and start showing it (a ledger you can audit). Same brief, same business, opposite instincts — that's the point of a challenge round. All four are internal concepts; nothing is approved.
